Etna is a State of Mind
Rachel Brady2024-09-12What can I say? This tour was the highlight of our trip to Sicily! We opted for the morning tour with the wine tasting afterwards. Marco’s enthusiasm and knowledge of Mt Etna is second to none, we learned so much about the volcano, its history, geography, indigenous flora and fauna, the list goes on! What made the tour so special, however, was that in spite learning so much, it was not at all overwhelming because Marco has such a personable and relaxed style of teaching you about “mama Etna.” Afterwards we were dropped to a vineyard for a wine tasting where we learned about both Sicilian wine making as well as winemaking specific to Etna. We were collected and dropped back, and enjoyed every moment from start to finish. We could not recommend this tour any higher!
Baris2024-09-05Guide is friendly and talkative, He always shared interesting informations about volcanoes and Sicily. First we went lava tube, then visited Silvestri crater, then took a ~1 hour sunset trip on the mountain. Long story short all good.
